Ahash Francis
Ahash graduated from UC Davis this year with an English major and Theater minor. His previous work includes The Bluest Eye, Callus, and various devised works around the department. 
Anne Homer
Anne is a second year English and Theater double major. She has appeared in productions of CLUE and LES MISERABLES, as well as numerous speech and poetry competitions. This is Anne’s first debut with UC Davis and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to be apart of the Ensemble this year for such a growing cause. 
Ben Carter
Ben Carter is a second year theatre/psychology double major at UCD. Past credits: PIPPIN (u/s Charles/Lewis, ensemble), BYE BYE BIRDIE (Albert), BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (Beast), and more. He's a board member for Studio301 (a student-run theatre club) and The Afterglow (UCD's all male a cappella group). 
Emile Rappaport
Emile Rappaport is a fourth year Theater and Dance student. In his time at UC Davis, he has studied theatrical and film arts. Last year he studied cinema in Paris, France, for four months, and he recently finished an internship at National Lampoon, LA. He plans to move to LA or attend grad school post-graduation.

Ryan Gerberding
Ryan Gerberding is a recent graduate of UC Davis's Theatre and Dance program. He appeared in THE GAMBLING LADY, WOYZECK, LUNGS, GOSPEL ACCORDING TO FIRST SQUAD, and MR. BURNS, among others, with the T&D department. He also directed two plays for Studio 301, a student theatre club on campus. 
Talia FriedenBerg
Talia Friedenberg (Assistant Director, SUMMERTIME; Judith, A PUNCHLINE) is a third year Theater & Dance major. At U.C. Davis, she has performed in PIPPIN (Catherine), Ground and Field Theater Festival 2017 (Ensemble/Maddie in HYSTERICAL!), and VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE (Nina). Last spring, Talia made her professional acting debut as Ophelia in HAMLET at the Marin Shakespeare Company. She is thrilled to be part of Ground and Field again this year! |
Aliya Hunter
Aliya Hunter is a musician, a second year Gender Studies major, and a first time Assistant Stage Manager. She is very excited to be working with the cast and crew of DAISY VIOLET. You may have seen her as the cellist and stage manager of PARITY. 
Anthony Castillon
Anthony Castillon has been performing for the better part of 2 years and has been in 7 shows including American Idiot and RENT with the Children's Musical Theater of San Jose, and Gibraltar and PIPPIN with the UC Davis theater department. He is current pursuing a major in theater. 
Charlie Lavaroni
Paul (Brisé); Assistant Director (Daisy Violet the Bitch Beast King) Charlie is a junior studying Theater and English. Favorite recent credits include: Max Jacobs, Porter (ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY at Davis Shakes) Pippin (PIPPIN); Man (NEAR LOVE SONGS at GFTF); Queen Elizabeth (RICHARD III); Jackson (GIBRALTAR); Lady Macbeth (MACBETH); Brick (CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF); and Cornelius, U/S Ophelia (HAMLET at SF Shakes). Karina Rodriguez
Karina Rodriguez is a fourth year theater and dance major who has been part of Ground and Field for two years. She has recently been in The Bluest Eye and No Formula. 
Myah Daniels
Myah Daniels is a fourth-year Theatre & Dance minor. She is an Assistant Stage Manager for "Summertime" and was the Assistant Director for "Parity." She is the director of Studio 301’s Musical Revue this quarter and has performed in over 15 shows as an actor and singer. 
Riley Smith
Riley Smith is a fourth year student pursuing a double-major in Cinema & Digital Media and Theatre & Dance, and a minor in History. He is new to performing, but is very excited to play an AI in (UN) EARTHED. 
Shannon Mccoy
Shannon McCoy is a fourth year from Huntington Beach studying theatre and wildlife conservation biology. In this festival, she performed as Dr. Triona Fitton in LIGHT DELAY and Annabella in KILL THE WABBIT. She is also involved in the devised piece, electrics, and run crew for DAISY VIOLET. 
Tiffany Nwogu
Tiffany Nwogu is a third year Theatre and Dance major and African American studies minor. She has appeared in SHAKESPEARE’S RICHARD III of Fall Quarter 2017-2018; MARIE MARIE MARIE MARIE at UC Davis’ Dead Arts Society, PECOLA in the Bluest Eye for Spring quarter 2018, and has won an award as part of best actor ensemble for the student film FRUIT PUNCH. Tiffany is excited to be apart of this experience and is looking forward to future projects. |
Alyssa Buchthal
Alyssa Buchthal is thrilled to make her debut with Ground and Field. Previously, you may have seen her in THE TALE OF THE SUN, THE EARTH, AND THE MOON with Collaborative Stages. Alyssa has enjoyed acting in LIGHT DELAY and spearheading PR for the social media team with this year’s festival. 
Ashleigh Heer
Ashleigh Heer (Aunt Pru, SUMMERTIME; Festival Production Assistant) is delighted to return to the festival as a performer and now Production Assistant! When not onstage, this recent grad can be found unsuccessfully scouring the interwebs for theatre jobs that pay a living wage or laughing at her own jokes. 
Christiana Panicucci
Christiana Panicucci is a 4th year Human Development major at UC Davis with a minor of Theater and Dance. She is excited to be stage managing SUMMERTIME at this years Ground and Field Festival. 
Katie Halls
Katie Halls is a third year Theatre and Dance and English double major at UC Davis. So far during her Ground and Field experience, she has portrayed Myra in the staged reading of “[Un]Earthed”, gotten to work on her playwriting, and devised her original piece for the festival. Some of her favorite theatre experiences in the past have been performing as “Penny” in Hairspray, “Anne” in Anne of Green Gables the Musical, “Lucy” in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, and being the captain of her improvisation team in high school 
Naveen Bhat
Naveen Bhat is a fifth year Theatre and Film double major at UC Davis and is returning for their second season of Ground & Field in DAISY VIOLET THE BITCH BEAST KING. They have appeared in BOY at Big Idea Theatre Company; SWIMMERS and HEATHERS THE MUSICAL at Studio 301 Productions. 
Rose Kim
Rose Kim spent her summer in Vermont as a resident artist at The Sable Project. As a performer she leans into somatics, energy. She is attracted to rehearsal processes that embody diversity and acknowledge the personal-political. She supports Black Power, Indigenous Sovereignty, and paying attention to anti-mainstream currents.

Tristan Atkinson
Tristan is a Junior at UC Davis studying theatre. In the past, he has had a variety of roles in Sonoma State University’s productions of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING ERNEST and HAMLET. Usually in the background of the Theater department, Tristan is excited to be a part of the ensemble this year. |
