Up in their attic, sisters Josephine and Henrietta cast a spell to create a new sister for themselves. They get everything they've dreamed of, and more: she's monstrous and violent and embodies the rage and fury of girls. She grows way too fast, eats things she shouldn't, and deals with injustice in ever more alarming ways.
