Rachel Bublitz is an award winning and internationally produced playwright. Her full-length Ripped will have its World Premiere Production with Z Space, directed by Z Space's Executive Artistic Director Lisa Steindler and go on for a Regional Premiere with Good Company Theatre in 2019. Of Serpents & Sea Spray, a commissioned play, was produced with Custom Made Theatre Company and This Is Water Theatre. About Kyle
Kyle Holmes and Taylor Gomes started collaborating in 2012 at Granite Bay High School. RANKED will be their seventh musical as director and musical director. They developed Boxed Up - The Musical, an episodic six-part musical comedy that took place at the Warehouse Artists Lofts (WAL) First Friday event, and culminated in a concert performance at Capital Stage. Taylor Gomes wrote the music and lyrics for Boxed Up, while Holmes was one of the show’s writers. Holmes and Taylor-Gomes began writing RANKED in the spring of 2018. Mr. Holmes and Mr. Gomes also teach theatre arts together at Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp in El Dorado County. |

Janine DeMaria is a playwright and film/TV writer and a graduate of NYU's Tisch M.F.A. program in Dramatic Writing. Her pilot FLYING HIGH was optioned by Skydance Productions and her pilot STAY was recently optioned by PatMa Productions with Nina Tassler producing. Her play 2+2+1 was chosen for Ground and Field Theatre Festival 2017 and went on the be chosen as a Semi-Finalist in the Screencraft Stage Play Competition and received an Honorable Mention at the 2018 B Street Comedy Festival. She is the recipient of the Manus-Salzman Scholarship for Outstanding Dramatic Achievement and a Google Grant for Excellence in Storytelling using interactive multimedia formats. Héloïse Thual’s was awarded the New Playwrights Award for Unequally of Clay and Diamonds and her play, All Women Got Something of Sido, was developed with Playwrights’s Studio Scotland. Her production of The Paper Bag was produced in partnership with the Glasgow-based company Urban Fairytale. Ms. Thual’s most recent play The Bug In The Cup was presented in at the Theatre Royal Dumfries, produced by The Bunbury Banter Theatre Company. She resides in Glasgow. When not writing, he has worked as a zookeeper, a sound recordist, a tech director, and as a retail trainer at Borders Books & Music. His website is www.markrigney.net. |

About Aidaa
Aidaa Peerzada’s play with music, ONE GOOGOL AND ONE (music by Lisa Quoresimo) was produced by SFBATCO at the Brava Center in San Francisco in December 2018. Aidaa was on the writing team for LINES which premiered at Theater Lila in Madison Wisconsin in the summer of 2018. In 2017 her play Things Change (an earlier version of SHINING) received a workshop at the UC Davis. She workshopped and performed Grandma Science as part of the 2018 Greenhouse Theatre Solo Lab. Her play Scheherazade was produced at the 2012 New York Fringe Festival and at the Carnegie Mellon’s new student work festival PLAYGROUND. Her other works include Remember Me, or Change, and Choreo-slam which were also produced as part of PLAYGROUND. As a performer, Aidaa’s TV/Film credits include appearing on the HBO series GIRLS, the web series Blank My Life, and the film Gorenos. Regional Credits include The Utah Shakespeare Festival, Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The American Players Theatre, and Illinois Shakespeare Festival. Sarah Maraniss Vander Schaaff is a journalist whose appears frequently in The Washington Post’s Health and Science section and their online blogs On Parenting and The Answer Sheet. As a playwright, Sarah fuses her background in theatre (B.S. Northwestern University, MFA, University of Alabama/Alabama Shakespeare Festival) with her identity as a female journalist and daughter of a political reporter. She is interested in the stories behind the headlines, shedding light on the small actions that contribute to sweeping forces. As a mother, she is also keenly concerned about the world her daughters will inherit. |
